And then my friends Sam & Karen launched their salary survey for South-Africa. I thought, why not launch a similar survey but then globally.Īnd so I did. And my personal information is, well is just about me and my friends. The problem that all these people had, was the only decent information they found, came from the USA and did not feel adapted to the rest of the world. ![]() Another company was about to start an agile transition and wanted to find the right balance between paying a decent fee and hiring as many great coaches as possible. In another a great agile coach (and dear friend of me) wanted to work as a freelance coach in a new country and had no idea what was an acceptable daily rate. It's a very po-faced film, which attempts to deal with the idea of satanism in a realistic way (it fails, of course) whilst punctuating the narrative with a variety of very gorey, violent, nasty deaths - and a couple of equally revolting births. What's more, there's actually very little humour in it, intentional or otherwise. It's so far removed from everything else they've ever done it can hardly be lumped in with the rest of them, but it's undoubtedly a classic. ![]() ![]() The multifaceted trend of the gods, whereby they are both had and soft, runs through the representational paintings in my solo show. While researching, I was struck by how balanced the portrayal of women seemed to be they are both light and dark, dangerous and caring, and not in any way superficial. The strong Norse goddesses featured include Hel.Freyja, goddess of sex, fertility, war and wealth Nott, goddess of night, and Skadi, goddess of the hunt and winter. She portrays Marilyn Monroe as Hel, who runs the underworld.Īccording to Glew, ".I used Norse mythology as the nucleus for the show. She decided to portray famous screen stars as figures in Norse mythology. I needed to know why she wouldn’t talk and what she still had to hide after already having been judged as guilty for murder. I was intrigued by the idea of Alicia refusing to talk for SIX years. I found the psychology aspect to be rather unsettling but also very interesting. I had various hypotheticals about who killed Gabriel, but the truth was shocking. I did not see the plot twist coming at all, it took me completely by surprise. This is coming from a girl who can’t watch scary movies, but absolutely adored this book. It’s a murder-mystery thriller sort of book, but not one that won’t let you sleep, more like one that keeps you on the edge of your seat. ![]() It was recommended to me by one of my favorite teachers and it did not disappoint. ![]() ![]() ![]() It was one of those which just seemed to ‘happen’ and so perhaps, was meant to be. ![]() This has been a fantastic project to work on. ![]() Foundlings is slated for publication February 2022 all being well! He also has the physical background as he was a champion skater when he was young so comfortable with the athletic aspects of Flynn’s roles. įlynn is played by Lethbridge Alberta Canada born Duncan Regehr who has a slight facial resemblance. If that was a decision as a Writer or Director this picture ignores many of Flynn’s live moments in favor of focus on Lili Damita. Firstly I can say that I am a big Errol Flynn fan who doesn’t think he has gotten what he deserves in terms of recognition from Hollywood. ![]() |
